Prior to the annual APS meeting LaVision offered a one day seminar free of charge in the Sheraton Inner Harbor, Baltimore, Maryland. The event was well attended and the participants from all over the world took the opportunity for a get-together with experts in PIV and an exchange of information concerning tomographic PIV and its broad variety in fields of application. All attendees agreed on the point that this workshop was a fantastic demonstration to see what is possible with LaVision systems and software in terms of volumetric measurements One of the participants summarizes this when saying: “Very good mix of what/how/why/, followed by results presented from LaVision. Details and presentations of results from students and other professionals made series of lectures perfect. Funny, Informative and creative! Nice work.”
