PIV uncertainty publication has been chosen as one of the 2015 highlights in the journal “Measurement Science and Technology”
Saturday, 14. May 2016
The annual selection represents the breadth and excellence of the work published in the journal.
Dr. Douglas Neal from LaVision Inc. is the lead author of the selected publication "Collaborative framework for PIV uncertainty quantification: the experimental database", which presents some of the results of an international collaboration of researchers working on PIV uncertainty quantification (UQ). This paper is the first in a two-part series, the second of which benchmarks the performance of the four primary approaches to PIV UQ (see also: Sciacchitano et al. (2015) “Collaborative framework for PIV uncertainty quantification: comparative assessment of methods”, MST). These important publications demonstrate once again how research at LaVision is helping to lead the PIV community.
